ABA Seminary's
I have observed some on the Blogs and Message Boards, running down Seminary education. Up front I think that such is just plain dumb. Every ABA School that I know of is Church owned and controlled By a local New Testament Church. Also every one that I know of is also affordable since much of the expense is paid by Local Churches. I will ride this Horse a little more later. Comments are welcome.

Bro. Marlin, you write, "Some who oppose Seminaries say that they can learn without them." Whether or not we should have seminaries, the above statement is surely true. Baptists did not have seminaries until fairly modern times (probably the last couple or three hundred years). Surely they learned a little something in the preceding 1700 or so years.
ReplyDeleteI smiled a little at your comment that "you will have a host of Pastors that will treat you like a Son. Not a Grand Son." Sounds like we don't need any young men teaching or any old preachers attending, or they're sure to get that backwards! ;-)
